Children and Education Current Projects

Ernst and Young Foundation in India has collaborated with ICCo India to implement the app in different schools of  Assam, India. The target population is around 2500 girls which they aim to cover in the time period of April – July, 2022. The initiative marked it’s beginning in Guwahati where the first two months were spent in researching and approaching schools for the implementation of the app. The app was finally launched in Assam on 24th May, 2022 at St. Xavier’s School, Krishnai, Goalpara. 

STEM is a pivotal need to be addressed in the coming years and to encourage and lead the women of tomorrow towards it, despite the obstacles and stereotypes that society throws their way is the collaborative goal of the EY Foundation and ICCo India. Assam, being the core of North East’s development has a lot of potential to nurture when it comes to STEM and to play a minor role in it is a step forward in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals of Quality Education and Gender Equality.
